These steps will show you how to install or flash stock firmware (ROM) for devices with the Sunplus Chipset using the FRM Pro Tool.
Caution:
The data on the device will be erased if stock firmware (ROM) is flashed or installed. Therefore, before following the method below, we advise you to create a backup of your data.
Prerequisites:
- Download and install the SunPlus USB Driver on the Computer.
- Download the stock firmware (.bin based) for your device (if you have previously downloaded the stock firmware, skip this step; if not, search for the stock firmware using a.bin extension on Firmware website or Google).
- Now, extract the FRM Pro Tool onto your computer (if you haven’t already; if not, get the FRM Pro Tool).
Install Firmware using FRM Pro Tool
Step 1: Double-Click on the FRM.exe file to Launch the Tool:
Step 2: Once the FRM Pro Tool is launched, you will be able to see the following window:
Step 3: Click on the Advanced Tab:
Step 4: Right-Click on the RSV and Select Set Working Folder:
Step 5: Locate the Firmware Folder:
Step 6: Right-Click on the Bootload and Select Set File:
Step 7: Select Bootload.Bin file and Click on the OK button:
Step 8: Right-Click on the Firmware and Select Set File:
Step 9: Select Firmware.bin file Click on the OK button:
Step 10: Right-Click on the Working Folder and Select Create RSV Image:
Step 11: Click on the OK Button:
Step 12: Click on the Basics Tab:
Step 13: Click on the Platform Dropdown Menu and Select the Chipset of your device:
Step 14: Turn off the device and connect it to the computer via a USB wire. You might need to press the Boot key to for the tool to recognize your device.
Step 15: Click on the ISP button to begin the flashing process:
Step 16: After selecting the ISP button, the progress bar will continue to advance till the entire upgrading is complete. And if the upgrade failed and the progress bar is disconnected or stopped, check your device and try again.

[*] Take Backup: Before using the FRM Pro Tool, create a backup of your data because it will be erased throughout the flashing and installation processes.
[*] Device Not Detected: Holding the X button when connecting the USB cord allows you to start the phone in Flash Mode or Brush Mode. If you don’t, the system will enter default U-disk mode and the ISP update technique won’t function.
