What is SP Flashtool?
SP Flashtool is a tool to support technicians to re-upload rom for phones using mediatek chips (Mid-range phones) android operating system, such as oppo, lenovo, htc, wiko, mobistar, Gionee, Sony, Meizu , Vivo… and some other phones using mediatek chips.
How to use SP Flashtool software:
First you need to install SP Flashtool software on your computer and install it on your computer
1. Download USB driver for mediatek chip series
2. Download SP Flash Tool for win or liux
3. Download ROM for your device on firmware file website
After downloading the driver to install it on your computer, Laptop (It is recommended to use a laptop to upgrade rom to avoid power failure when updating rom).
Extract SP Flash tool, extract rom file
Open flash_tool.exe select Scatter-loading, navigate to ROM folder, select file MT6572_Android_scatter_emmc.txt
Note: (Uncheck Preloader (Because if it’s running, it cuts off the power or drops the cable to determine HARD BRICK) So if you have a laptop, it’s safer to run with a laptop.
After a few minutes, when the rom is successfully uploaded, it will say Download OK, the rom up process has been 100% successful, unplug the cable and restart the phone.
